1You can use either optical or coax digital audio out – it really makes very little difference – if any – for digital signals.
However, since you have a sat receiver, connect dig audio out from the sat receiver (NOT the TV) to the A/V receiver.

I think digital optical and the coaxial might be essentially equivalent, but I still use digital optical if HDMI isn’t there.

3if u only have those three ports use an digital optical cable. some will tell u theres no difference but there wrong! lol
